A match is 15 throws split into 3 rounds. To start we tap axes with your opponent and take 5 throws. After that, we switch targets and repeat until all 15 throws are complete. Winning 2 out of the 3 rounds will result in a win! Every week you play 4-8 matches depending on which league you are playing in.

The scoring is based on what part of the target your axe is stuck into. If you are on a line, whatever the majority of your blade is stuck in will count. Bullseye is worth 5. The middle ring is worth 3, and the outer ring is worth 1. On the final axe of each round, the clutches are available these are worth 7 points. To score this you only need to break the paint. There are more competitive rules used for premier league and tournaments.
